The Harlem Renaissance

The Harlem Renaissance featured an outpouring of artistic creativity and expression from African American musicians, writers, and artists. It asserted African American independence against the oppression of White dominated society. The contributions of the men and women of the Harlem Renaissance are integral to the cultural heritage of this country.

Grab a partner and create a MySpace page for this person using poster board, markers, etc. available to you. You guys know the format for MySpace. Be creative, but keep it clean. The following resources are acceptable to get information from:
