In order to further clarify the idea of Absolutism, the students will go through an Internet Activity that focuses on three monarchs from three different nations: Henry VIII of England, Louis XIV of France, and Catherine the Great of Russia. They can work in pairs to complete the worksheet; at the end of class, we will tie all of the ideas together and answer any questions the students may have. Because the events surrounding these monarchs are complicated, the end of class discussion can be extended to fill any extra time.
